Ajanta Pharma standalone net profit rises 60.97% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 9.65% to Rs 395.12 crore

Net profit of Ajanta Pharma rose 60.97% to Rs 135.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 84.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.65% to Rs 395.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 360.36 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 35.29% to Rs 414.48 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 306.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 15.10% to Rs 1529.26 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1328.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
