UPL standalone net profit rises 171.55% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 11.68% to Rs 1408.13 crore

Net profit of UPL rose 171.55% to Rs 205.67 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 75.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.68% to Rs 1408.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1260.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 52.31% to Rs 705.71 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 463.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.40% to Rs 5821.75 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5226.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
