Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar reports disruptions in plant operations at Budhana unit

Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar said that an accident occurred in Budhana Unit, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday 2.45 p.m, wherein, B- vacuum crystallizer fell down resulting 2 no. of casualties, both were seasonal permanent workers.

For restart of the plant, damaged injuction header & other equipments are to be replaced. Work has been started and will take 4 -5 days to restart the plant. Material has already reached at site from Gangnauli unit. Standing cane gate and purchased cane at out centers has been diverted to Kinauni, Gangnauli and Thanabhawan unit since Saturday night, further cane purchasing has been stopped.
