Sales rise 5.76% to Rs 932.02 crore

Net profit of Birla Corporation declined 43.95% to Rs 59.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 105.54 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.76% to Rs 932.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 881.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 27.62% to Rs 214.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 167.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 2.35% to Rs 3345.12 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 3268.16 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
