Turnover on NSE's F&O segment jumps
The Nifty April 2018 futures traded at 10416.60, near the Nifty's spot closing of 10417.15 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 7.34 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 5.22 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 14.90 points or 0.14% to settle at 10,417.15.
Vedanta, Titan Company, BPCL, Reliance Industries and DLF were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Vedanta April 2018 futures traded at 297.80, at a premium over spot closing of 297.15. Titan Company April 2018 futures traded at 981, at a discount over spot closing of 981.40.
BPCL April 2018 futures traded at 417, at a premium over spot closing of 415.40. Reliance Industries April 2018 futures traded at 931.40, at a discount over spot closing of 931.75. DLF April 2018 futures traded at 213.75, at a premium over spot closing of 213.05.
The April 2018 F&O contracts expire on 26 April 2018.
