Carborundum Universal net profit declines 36.31% in the March 2013 quarter
Capital MarketNet profit of Carborundum Universal declined 36.31% to Rs 16.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 26.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 5.58% to Rs 271.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 287.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.
For the Audited full year,net profit declined 49.18% to Rs 74.54 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 146.67 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 2.28% to Rs 1080.02 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 1105.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
