Century Textiles & Industries standalone net profit declines 22.44% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 2.83% to Rs 1954.74 crore

Net profit of Century Textiles & Industries declined 22.44% to Rs 9.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 11.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 2.83% to Rs 1954.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2011.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 54.52 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net profit of Rs 15.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.82% to Rs 7652.47 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 7300.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
