China Stocks fall 0.8% amid trade war fears

The Mainland China equity market closed down on Tuesday, 03 April 2018, amid escalating concerns about a China-US trade war after China announces retaliatory tariffs on about 130 U.S. goods. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index ended down 0.8%, or 26.55 points, at 3,136.63. The large-cap CSI300 dropped 0.6%, or 24.44 points, to 3,862.48.
