Coal India announces provisional production and offtake performance

For month of January 2018

Coal India announced the provisional production and offtake of the Company and its subsidiaries for the month of January 2018 and for April 2017 - January 2018.

The Company achieved 90% of the targeted coal production at 56.69 million tonnes in January 2018. For the period April 2017 - January 2018, actual coal production was 94% of the targeted at 440.62 million tonnes.

Actual offtake was 94% of the targeted at 53.70 million tonnes in January 2018. For the period April 2017 - January 2018, actual offtake was 97% of the targeted at 475.12 million tonnes.
