Dwarikesh Sugar Industries standalone net profit rises 322.56% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 14.38% to Rs 230.29 crore

Net profit of Dwarikesh Sugar Industries rose 322.56% to Rs 52.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 12.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 14.38% to Rs 230.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 201.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 38.97 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 16.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 29.62% to Rs 793.85 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1127.94 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
