Elango Industries announces plans to set up thermal power plant

At Billakuppam Village in Tamilnadu

Elango Industries announced that, Cauvery Power Generation Chennai - (CPGCPL), a group company of Elango Industries is initiating steps to set up a thermal power plant of 1X180 MW capacity at the existing site at Billakuppam Village in Gummidipoondi Taluk in the State of Tamilnadu for which a tender for EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) for a value of not less than RS. 500 crore will be floated by CPGCPL shortly. Subject to fulfillment of certain conditions in the tender document, the EPC Contract will be awarded to the Company.
