Elango Industries announced that, Cauvery Power Generation Chennai - (CPGCPL), a group company of Elango Industries is initiating steps to set up a thermal power plant of 1X180 MW capacity at the existing site at Billakuppam Village in Gummidipoondi Taluk in the State of Tamilnadu for which a tender for EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) for a value of not less than RS. 500 crore will be floated by CPGCPL shortly.
