Elecon Engineering Company standalone net profit rises 72.41% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 7.15% to Rs 369.75 crore

Net profit of Elecon Engineering Company rose 72.41% to Rs 50.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 29.10 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 7.15% to Rs 369.75 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 345.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 61.63% to Rs 8.08 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 21.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 1.31% to Rs 911.27 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 923.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
