Emami leads losers in BSE's 'A' group

Wockhardt, Just Dial, Motilal Oswal Financial Services and Vakrangee are among the other losers in the BSE's 'A' group at 13:20 IST today, 30 January 2018.

Emami tumbled 7.03% at Rs 1,146. The stock topped the losers in 'A' group. The company's consolidated net profit rose 9.56% to Rs 147.19 crore on 9.96% rise in revenue to Rs 842 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 29 January 2018. On the BSE, 15,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6,625 shares in the past two weeks.

Wockhardt lost 6.16% at Rs 853.05 after the company reported consolidated loss of Rs 41 crore in Q3 December 2017, compared with loss of Rs 54 crore in Q3 December 2016. Wockhardt's sales rose 1.01% Rs 1005 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 29 January 2018. The stock was the second biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 7.81 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.17 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Just Dial skidded 4.89% at Rs 534.45. The stock was the third biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 3.31 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.72 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services was down 4.77% at Rs 1,232.15. The stock was the fourth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 12,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 34,000 shares in the past two weeks.

Vakrangee dropped 4.66% at Rs 464.40. The stock was the fifth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.55 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.75 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
