Escorts standalone net profit rises 28.66% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 1.29% to Rs 800.79 crore

Net profit of Escorts rose 28.66% to Rs 16.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 12.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.29% to Rs 800.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 811.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 19.64% to Rs 89.38 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 74.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 772.13% to Rs 34556.06 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3962.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
