Net outflow of Rs 338.27 crore on 8 July 2015

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) offloaded shares worth a net Rs 338.27 crore yesterday, 8 July 2015, as against their purchases of Rs 295.70 crore during the preceding trading session on 7 July 2015.

The net outflow of Rs 338.27 crore on 8 July 2015 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6952.74 crore and gross sales of Rs 7291.01 crore. There was net outflow of Rs 327.78 crore from the secondary equity markets on 8 July 2015, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6952.69 crore and gross sales of Rs 7280.47 crore.

There was a net outflow of Rs 10.49 crore from the category 'primary market & others' on 8 July 2015, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 0.05 crore and gross sales of Rs 10.54 crore.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 3418.82 crore in this month so far (till 8 July 2015). They have bought shares worth a net Rs 548.14 crore from the secondary equity markets in this month so far (till 8 July 2015). FPIs sold shares worth a net Rs 3344.44 crore last month. They had sold shares worth a net Rs 4634.53 crore into the secondary equity markets last month.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 42499.45 crore in calendar year 2015 so far (till 8 July 2015). They have bought shares worth a net Rs 26894.10 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2015 so far (till 8 July 2015). FPIs had bought shares worth a net Rs 97055.90 crore in the calendar year 2014. They had bought shares worth a net Rs 84440.80 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2014.
