GAIL (India) wins Project Management Company of Year award

GAIL (India) has been awarded the Project Management Company of the Year for successfully completing Phase 1 of the Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga Pipeline Project.

GAIL (India) Limited successfully completed the first phase of the Jagdishpur Haldia Bokaro-Dhamra and Barauni Guwahati natural gas pipeline, popularly known as the Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga Pipeline Project using advanced tools for project management, high precision HDD river crossings through two major rivers like Son and Ganga, within timelines and budget, while maintaining the highest safety standards during its execution.

The Phase 1 of 'Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga' pipeline was dedicated to the nation by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 17 February 2019. The prestigious 2655 Km long JHBDPL project covers Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal and is being further extended from Barauni to Guwahati (Assam) through 729 km pipeline.
