Gini Silk Mills standalone net profit rises 35.59% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 41.70% to Rs 6.43 crore

Net profit of Gini Silk Mills rose 35.59% to Rs 0.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 41.70% to Rs 6.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 11.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 34.44% to Rs 2.42 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 4.00% to Rs 39.12 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 40.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
