Goa Carbon Ltd gained 4.97% today to trade at Rs 189.95. The S&P BSE Energy index is up 0.64% to quote at 4496.76. The index is up 4.43 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Adani Gas Ltd increased 1.43% and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd added 1.02% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went down 7.57 % over last one year compared to the 20.51% fall in benchmark SENSEX.
