Grasim Industries consolidated net profit rises 0.79% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 5.72% to Rs 9995.40 crore

Net profit of Grasim Industries rose 0.79% to Rs 1063.62 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1055.26 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.72% to Rs 9995.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 9454.64 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 22.89% to Rs 4245.61 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 3454.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 4.58% to Rs 36068.40 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 34487.47 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
