Net loss of Great Eastern Shipping Company reported to Rs 12.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 9.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 5.87% to Rs 397.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 422.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 39.94% to Rs 204.68 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 146.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 15.30% to Rs 1449.72 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1711.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
