Great Eastern Shipping Company reports standalone net profit of Rs 52.47 crore in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 15.45% to Rs 458.83 crore

Net profit of Great Eastern Shipping Company reported to Rs 52.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against net loss of Rs 12.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 15.45% to Rs 458.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 397.43 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 55.02% to Rs 317.30 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 204.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 17.84% to Rs 1708.32 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 1449.72 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
