GTL Infrastructure fell 3.48% to Rs 2.22 at 10:35 IST on BSE after the company reported weak Q4 results.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 4.38 points or 1.02% at 26,011.68.
On BSE, so far 1.06 lakh shares of exchanged hands on the counter as against average daily volume of 3.61 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 2.28 and a low of Rs 2.19 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 1.91 on 20 May 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 3.55 on 6 January 2016. The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 26 April 2016, rising 5.02% compared with Sensex's 2.64% rise. The scrip had, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, dropping 13.21% as against Sensex's 6.21% rise.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 2336.39 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
GTL Infrastructure reported net loss of Rs 92.75 crore in Q4 March 2016 compared with net loss of Rs 100.22 crore in Q4 March 2015. Total income rose 0.23% to Rs 155.86 crore in Q4 March 2016 over Q4 March 2015. The result was announced at the fag end of the trading session yesterday, 26 April 2016. GTL Infra's shares had gained 0.88% to settle at Rs 2.30 yesterday, 26 April 2016.
