Gujarat Gas rose 6.30% to Rs 173.90 at 11:10 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit rose 91.6% to Rs 234.04 crore on a 48.1% rise in the net sales to Rs 2,614.61 crore in Q1 June 2019 over Q1 June 2018.
The result was announced after trading hours yesterday, 30 July 2019.
Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex was down 184.05 points or 0.49% at 37,213.19.
On BSE, 4.4 lakh shares were traded in Gujarat Gas counter, compared to a 2-week average of 7,264 shares. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 192.40 and an intraday low of Rs 172.10. It hit a 52-week high of Rs 195 on 3 June 2019 and a 52-week low of Rs 116 on 27 February 2019.
Gujarat Gas is engaged in the natural gas business in Gujarat.
