HeidelbergCement India has resumed partial operations in some of its manufacturing units and is in the process of doing so for the other units.
The resumption of operations has been done in line with the guideline issued by the government and after obtaining permission of the district administration.
The company will gradually step up its operations depending upon the directions being issued by the government from time to time and the market demand. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 20 April 2020.
Shares of the cement manufacturer rose 3.89% to end at Rs 162.95 on Monday (20 April 2020).
HeidelbergCement India is a subsidiary of HeidelbergCement AG, Germany. The company operates in central India in Damoh (Madhya Pradesh) and Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) and in southern India in Ammasandra (Karnataka).
