Crude oil output declines 0.9% to 21.82 mt during April-October FY2015
India's crude oil production rose 1% to 3.218 million tonnes (mt) in October 2014. The crude oil output of private/JV companies moved up 0.9% at 1.017 mt, while that of ONGC improved 1.6% to 1.903 mt. ONGC's offshore output surged 5.7% to 1.389 mt, but onshore production continued to dip 8% to 0.514 mt. The crude oil production of Oil India declined 2.2% to 0.297 mt in October 2014.The crude oil output declined 0.9% to 21.82 mt during April-October FY2015, in addition to 1.2% fall in April-October FY2014 and 0.7% dip recorded in April-October FY2013. Output of ONGC and Oil India declined 0.4% to 12.968 mt and 4.7% to 2.005 mt, while that of private companies also fell 0.7% to 6.847 mt in April-October FY2015.
