Info Edge (India) jumps on bargain hunting

Info Edge (India) rose 3.86% to Rs 1490.35 at 13:40 IST on BSE on bargain hunting after a recent slide.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 251.76 points, or 0.70% to 35,639.76.

On the BSE, 14,000 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 5,009 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 1499.95 and a low of Rs 1430 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,695 on 4 December 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,125 on 29 June 2018.

Shares of Info Edge (India) fell 8.87% in seven trading sessions to settle at Rs 1,435 yesterday, 2 January 2019, from its close of Rs 1,574.70 on 21 December 2018.

Net profit of Info Edge (India) declined 0.59% to Rs 78.09 crore on 17.67% rise in net sales to Rs 265.01 crore in Q2 September 2018 over Q2 September 2017.
