Information Technology stocks rise

Information Technology stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index increasing 82.11 points or 0.5% at 16415 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Quick Heal Technologies Ltd (up 5.27%), Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (up 3.66%),NELCO Ltd (up 2.9%),63 Moons Technologies Ltd (up 2.54%),Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd (up 2.37%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Firstsource Solutions Ltd (up 1.8%), Subex Ltd (up 1.3%), D-Link India Ltd (up 1.27%), Aptech Ltd (up 0.92%), and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (up 0.9%).

On the other hand, Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd (down 4.95%), Intellect Design Arena Ltd (down 4.2%), and Tanla Solutions Ltd (down 3.72%) turned lower.

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 7.78 or 0.02% at 41249.96.

The Nifty 50 index was down 2.1 points or 0.02% at 12111.35.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 61.73 points or 0.42% at 14620.92.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 15.12 points or 0.3% at 5046.73.

On BSE,682 shares were trading in green, 907 were trading in red and 92 were unchanged.
