Lupin consolidated net profit rises 47.54% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 33.96% to Rs 4091.32 crore

Net profit of Lupin rose 47.54% to Rs 807.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 547.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 33.96% to Rs 4091.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 3054.04 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 5.52% to Rs 2270.69 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2403.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 8.75% to Rs 13701.56 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 12599.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
