Marico standalone net profit rises 6.88% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 5.16% to Rs 1039.80 crore

Net profit of Marico rose 6.88% to Rs 150.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 140.72 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.16% to Rs 1039.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 988.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 28.74% to Rs 701.87 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 545.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.75% to Rs 4938.20 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4669.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
