Maruti Suzuki India standalone net profit declines 11.73% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 12.48% to Rs 14929.50 crore

Net profit of Maruti Suzuki India declined 11.73% to Rs 1133.60 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1284.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 12.48% to Rs 14929.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 13272.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 23.18% to Rs 4571.40 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3711.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 15.93% to Rs 56350.40 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 48605.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
