Turnover drops
Nifty December 2013 futures were at 6176.25, at a premium of 21.55 points over spot closing of 6154.70. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 109663.40 crore from Rs 130766.37 crore on Friday, 13 December 2013.
Aurobindo Pharma December 2013 futures were at 350.80, near spot closing of 350.
Infosys December 2013 futures were at 3459.90, at a premium over spot closing of 3451.
Tata Steel December 2013 futures were at 411.10, at a premium over spot closing of 408.65.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 13.70 points or 0.22% to settle at 6,154.70, its lowest closing level since 28 November 2013.
The December 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 26 December 2013.
