Turnover surges
Nifty January 2015 futures were at 8712, a premium of 16.40 points over spot closing of 8695.60. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 290288.32 crore from Rs 191945.87 crore yesterday, 19 January 2015.
State Bank of India January 2015 futures were at 319.50, at a premium over spot closing of 318
Axis Bank January 2015 futures were at 554.30, at a premium over spot closing of 552.15
ICICI Bank January 2015 futures were at 368, at a premium over spot closing of 367
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty surged 144.90 points or 1.69% to settle at 8,695.60, a record closing high for the index.
The January 2015 derivatives contract expire on 29 January 2015.
