Turnover drops
Nifty July 2014 futures were at 7797.05, near spot closing of 7787.15. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 106168.98 crore from Rs 138301.08 crore on Friday, 4 July 2014.
Kotak Mahindra Bank July 2014 futures were at 889.50, at a premium over spot closing of 882.30.
Infosys July 2014 futures were at 3346, at a premium over spot closing of 3342.80.
IDFC July 2014 futures were at 140.65, at a discount compared to spot closing of 142.05.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 35.55 points or 0.46% to settle at 7,787.15, a record closing high.
The July 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 31 July 2014.
