F&O turnover surges
Nifty July 2015 futures were at 8378, at a premium of 24.90 points over spot closing of 8353.10. Nifty June 2015 futures were at 8355.40, at a premium of 2.30 points over spot closing of 8353.10. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 3.85 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 2.68 lakh crore registered during the previous trading session on Friday, 19 June 2015.
Reliance Industries June 2015 futures were at 993.55, near spot closing of 992.
HDFC Bank June 2015 futures were at 1048.40, near spot closing of 1047.80.
State Bank of India June 2015 futures were at 266.35, near spot closing of 266.40.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 128.15 points or 1.56% to settle at 8,353.10.
The June 2015 F&O contracts are set to expire on Thursday, 25 June 2015.
