Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty July 2017 futures traded at 9828.65, at a premium of 12.55 points over Nifty's spot closing of 9816.10 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment increased to Rs 5.54 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 4.68 lakh crore registered yesterday, 11 July 2017.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index advanced 30.05 points or 0.31% to settle at 9,816.10, a record closing high.
Biocon, Reliance Industries (RIL), Adani Enterprises, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India (SBI) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Biocon July 2017 futures traded at 369.95, near spot closing of 369.20. RIL July 2017 futures traded at 1503.65, at a discount compared with spot closing of 1511.25.
Adani Enterprises July 2017 futures traded at 142.05, at a premium over spot closing of 141.50. ICICI Bank July 2017 futures traded at 295.10, near spot closing of 294.30. SBI July 2017 futures traded at 288.80, at a premium over spot closing of 287.80.
The July 2017 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2017.
