Turnover on NSE's F&O segment drops

The Nifty July 2018 futures traded at 11,022, a premium of 3.10 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11018.90 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment dropped to Rs 5.58 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 17.06 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 4.30 points or 0.04% to settle at 11,018.90.

Reliance Industries, Infosys and TCS were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

Reliance Industries July 2018 futures traded at 1096.50, at a discount over spot closing price of 1101. Infosys July 2018 futures traded at 1,327.55, at a premium over spot closing price of 1323. TCS July 2018 futures traded at 1,982.25, at a premium over spot closing price of 1977.60.

The July 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 26 July 2018.
