Turnover spurts
Nifty May 2014 futures were at 7390.85, at a premium of 23.75 points over spot closing of 7367.10. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 271909.94 crore from Rs 183328.98 crore on Thursday, 22 May 2014.
State Bank of India May 2014 futures were at 2769, near spot closing of 2769.80.
DLF May 2014 futures were at 217.90, near spot closing of 217.50.
ICICI Bank May 2014 futures were at 1473.40, at a premium over spot closing of 1465.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty surged 90.70 points or 1.25% to settle at 7,367.10, a record closing high.
The May 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 29 May 2014.
