Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

Nifty May 2015 futures were at 8444.60, at a discount of 14.35 points compared with spot closing of 8458.95. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 2.82 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 2.20 lakh crore registered during the previous trading session.

State Bank of India May 2015 futures were at 279.30, at a discount compared to spot closing of 281.90.

Axis Bank May 2015 futures were at 566, at a discount compared to spot closing of 567.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries May 2015 futures were at 998.80, at a discount compared to spot closing of 1,000.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 37.95 points or 0.45% to settle at 8,458.95, its highest closing level since 17 April 2015.

The May 2015 derivatives contracts are scheduled to expire on 28 May 2015.
