Turnover on NSE's F&O segment slides
The Nifty April 2018 futures traded at 10621, a small premium of 6.65 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10614.35 in the cash market.
The Nifty May 2018 futures traded at 10647, a premium of 32.65 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 7.12 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 7.37 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 29.65 points or 0.28% to settle at 10,614.35.
Reliance Industries, Infosys, Hindalco Industries, TCS and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Reliance Industries April 2018 futures traded at 973.50, at a premium from spot closing of 970.05. Infosys April 2018 futures traded at 1152.75, at a discount from spot closing of 1154.50.
Hindalco Industries April 2018 futures traded at 237.15, at a premium from spot closing of 236.75. TCS April 2018 futures traded at 3386.30, at a premium from spot closing of 3385.65. HDFC Bank April 2018 futures traded at 1930.55, at a discount from spot closing of 1935.
The April 2018 F&O contracts expire on 26 April 2018.
