Turnover on NSE's F&O segment drops
The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10,417.50, a premium of 27.80 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,389.70 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment dropped to Rs 4.08 lakh crore as compared with the turnover of Rs 11.34 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index gained 40.95 points or 0.4% to settle at 10,389.70, its highest closing level since 6 November 2017.
Reliance Industries (RIL), Infosys, State Bank of India (SBI), Titan Company and Jubilant Foodworks were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. RIL November 2017 futures traded at 952, at a premium over spot closing of 951.25. Infosys November 2017 futures traded at 1007.15, at a discount from spot closing of 1008.
SBI November 2017 futures traded at 333.15, at a premium over spot closing of 332.10. Titan Company November 2017 futures traded at 831, at a premium over spot closing of 830.25. Jubilant Foodworks November 2017 futures traded at 1799.40, at a premium over spot closing of 1797.
The November 2017 F&O contracts expire on 30 November 2017.
