Turnover declines
Nifty October 2013 futures were at 5944.60, at a premium of 38.45 points over spot closing of 5906.15. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 101554.44 crore from Rs 116906.51 crore on Friday, 4 October 2013.
Tata Steel October 2013 futures were at 304, near spot closing of 301.45.
Axis Bank October 2013 futures were at 1,078, at a premium over spot closing of 1,071.
TCS October 2013 futures were at 2,099.10, near spot closing of 2,095.75.
In the spot market, the CNX Nifty lost 1.15 points or 0.02% to settle at 5,906.15, its lowest closing level since 1 October 2013.
The October 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 31 October 2013.
