Panchmahal Steel net profit declines 10.39% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 14.88% to Rs 95.36 crore

Net profit of Panchmahal Steel declined 10.39% to Rs 2.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 2.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 14.88% to Rs 95.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 83.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 1.82 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 3.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 3.97% to Rs 317.67 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 330.79 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
