Net loss of Power Finance Corporation reported to Rs 3409.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net profit of Rs 1259.65 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 16.56% to Rs 5513.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 6608.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 65.22% to Rs 2126.39 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6113.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 2.99% to Rs 26270.08 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 27079.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
