Shanthi Gears standalone net profit rises 272.73% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 5.08% to Rs 40.52 crore

Net profit of Shanthi Gears rose 272.73% to Rs 5.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1.43 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.08% to Rs 40.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 38.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 95.71% to Rs 18.24 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 9.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.86% to Rs 162.42 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 152.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
