Shree Cement standalone net profit rises 86.54% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 28.23% to Rs 2017.41 crore

Net profit of Shree Cement rose 86.54% to Rs 223.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 119.73 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 28.23% to Rs 2017.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1573.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.71% to Rs 454.93 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 426.33 crore during the previous year ended June 2015. Sales declined 13.54% to Rs 5567.73 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 6439.88 crore during the previous year ended June 2015.
