SMS Pharmaceuticals standalone net profit declines 22.07% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 7.61% to Rs 101.24 crore

Net profit of SMS Pharmaceuticals declined 22.07% to Rs 9.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 12.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 7.61% to Rs 101.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 94.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 13.59% to Rs 40.45 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 35.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 5.61% to Rs 462.68 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 438.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
