Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation announced that the company's plants have been shut down in the forenoon on 07 January 2019 due to urgent need to carry out repairs to critical equipment (Urea Reactor) and attend to essential shut down jobs. The company expects the operations to resume by early February 2019.
