The Ramco Cements standalone net profit rises 118.71% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 1.81% to Rs 978.82 crore

Net profit of The Ramco Cements rose 118.71% to Rs 204.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 93.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 1.81% to Rs 978.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 961.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 130.35% to Rs 558.26 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 242.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.19% to Rs 3587.22 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3593.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
