Nifty June futures at discount
The Nifty June 2018 futures traded at 10734, a discount of 7.10 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10741.10 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 17.57 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 8.87 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 30.95 points or 0.29% to settle at 10741.10.
Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Reliance Industries June 2018 futures traded at 1024.40, at a discount over spot closing price of 1031.60. ICICI Bank June 2018 futures traded at 297.60, at a discount over spot closing price of 297.95. Tata Steel June 2018 futures traded at 558, at a preimum over spot closing price of 556.85.
The June 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 28 June 2018.
