Nifty June futures at small discount

The Nifty June 2018 futures traded at 10,849, a discount of 7.70 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10,856.70 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 14.18 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.93 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 48.65 points or 0.45% to settle at 10,808.05

RIL, SBI and and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

RIL June 2018 futures traded at 1004.50, at a discount over spot closing price of 1007. SBI June 2018 futures traded at 283.90, at a premium from spot closing price of 282.85. HDFC Bank June 2018 futures traded at 2033.80, at a discount from spot closing price of 2035.

The June 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 28 June 2018.
